Wonderful comfort and support for large bust July 19, 2010 Theresa Bettinger I was a little worried about this bra when I saw that the sizing was only S,M,L,XL instead of the typical band/cup sizing method. However, I am extremely pleased with the comfort and fit of this bra - so much so that I ordered two more after the first arrived. There are four sets of hooks in the back of the bra that allow customizing for your band size. I am currently a 38G, and the large fits me well (larger band sizes may want to go up to XL - I am using the last available set of hooks on the band.) Like others, I'm not very fond of the removable foam cup design, but I do use them and they work well enough as long as you don't have a really thin shirt on. The clips for folding down the cups work well and I can use them one-handed. Another user mentioned that the elastic straps holding the clips in place while the cups are down were not tight enough and she kept losing the clips over her shoulder - I haven't had that problem, even though the elastic is a little loose. In my opinion, this bra is definitely worth the money. I wish I had found it earlier in my pregnancy!
This bra is so great !!!! July 9, 2010 aabreu8215 I am 28 weeks pregnant and currently wear a size 38D. My pre-pregnancy bras were getting too tight so I did a lot of research and decided to order one of these nursing bras. I have to say that it really is the most comfortable, supportive, shape flattering bra that I have EVER owned - nursing or not. I am so thrilled with it that I am about to place an order for two more and I even plan to continue to wear them after I deliver and am done nursing. I don't notice or feel the clips at all, the foam inserts cover everything they are supposed to and they do not show through clothing at all. I can't say enough great things!!!!
EXCELLENT!!! June 11, 2010 Diana H. (Nashville, TN USA) I've had such a hard time finding a supportive & comfortable nursing bra to go back to work in. After reading several reviews I ordered this bra and the Anita Softcup nursing bra. Even though the Anita offered support, I prefer the Bravado. I will keep the Anita but I will definitely order another Bravado. The Bravado addressed all my concerns. It has wonderful support, very comfortable, removable pads & holds my breast in the cup without spillage! I read some reviews that the pads showed thru clothes but I have not had that problem. I'm a 34DD, I ordered the large and it fit perfectly. My first comment when I put this bra on was, "I'm never taking it off!" I wish I had discovered this bra while I was pregnant, the wireless cups are so comfortable. I cannot say enough about this bra but do yourself a favor and order a few!!
If you're busty, don't expect it to be as good as your non-nursing bra June 10, 2010 Chmeliar (South Ogden, UT USA) I'm expecting baby #5 and have owned my share of nursing bras. I am well endowed (36 D) and am willing to pay what I have to for a good bra. The biggest reason I dread nursing is because of the poor quality of nursing bras out there for women like me. I feel like they don't support well and don't flatter my figure.
Since the Bravado Seamless Nursing Bra got such great reviews, I ordered a couple of them, one in large, on in extra large. After trying them on, I wish I would've ordered a smaller band size as it just isn't snug enough. I like them to be on the tighter side to stay in place and do it's job. I always go for underwire in a normal bra. I suppose no underwire makes these nursing bras more comfortable when nursing, but I think it also causes the bra to let me 'go' at the sides of my bust instead of holding me in, thus creating a less flattering sillouette in my opinion. First thing I did was yank out the padded cups as I do not need any help there (and I've never had a problem with leaking).
Overall, it's probably one of the better nursing bras I've had. But I'm still searching for the perfect one...
Great support! June 5, 2010 L (Portland, ME) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This bra is great. The comfort and quality is far better than what the local maternity and bra shops had. The removable pads were anoying the first use, but it was because I've never used them before. Once I found the proper position to put them in the bra it was perfect. With proper positioning of the cups they become hardly visible.
