I highly recommend this product - was told that since I was "advanced" maternal age that conception would be more difficult for me. I purchased this in the hopes that it would help my odds. The first time around I only got to use it twice before I got pregnant. It was super easy to use and read, the ferning pattern is clearly visible and best of all the product is resuable. A 1 1/2 later we decided that we would try again for another baby and this time and I only used the product once and we conceived on the first monitored attempt - my doctor was shocked and my husband was bummed... he thought we were going to have to be working on baby making night and day. I have also recommend this product to several friends who also had the same quick results. This product does not make infertile women fertile so if a woman has an undiagnosed fertility issue her chances of conception will not be helped with this product. I think this product is ideal for those looking to pin point their ideal fertility window and understand their best chances for conception.

I JUST RECIEVED MY OVULITE AND SO FAR SO GOOD. I USED IT IN THE EVENING AND I SEEN PATTERNS.. BUT IM NOT OVULATING, WHICH IS CORRECT CAUSE IM WAITING ON MY MENSTRUAL.. IM SO HAPPY I GOT THIS PRODUCT, I WILL BE MONITORING MY CYCLES AND OVULATION FOR A COUPLE WEEKS AND HOPING WHEN I GO BACK TO THE STATES TO SEE MY HUSBAND WE CAN TRY FOR OUR FIRST BABY.. ILL LET YOU LADIES KNOW IN A COUPLE MONTHS IF IM PREGNANT. GOOD LUCK LADIES.

I was using CLOMID and around the time I should start ovulating this thing was FERN CITY! So we used Preseed & got busy. Well I actually was NOT ovulating when it was FERN CITY! I actually ovulated an entire week later and we missed out on it since I thought I had already ovulated. This was while seeing a GYNO, then I switched to a Fertility Dr.
I will say that sometimes it would be FERN CITY every other day or every several days, this was when I was NOT ovulating at all. YES, I KNOW exactly how to use this and was using it correctly.
I actually think that at the time since I had fertility problems that is what made this thing fern on and off so much. My hormones were ALL out of wack. So ladies, if any of you have been trying for a baby for a while, if you have irregular periods, think something is wrong, have this thing fern on and off like it is not supposed to, you might want to get checked out to make sure you don't have fertility problems.
I recommend the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" which will show you exactly how to chart and make sure you really are ovulating and are ovulating like you should be.
I saw a GYNO at first when I was having irregular or basically no periods. He put me on Clomid w/ no reason why. Told me I had nothing wrong w/ me other than thyroid and would not listen me even though I had symptoms of PCOS. So I switched to a Reproductive Endocronologist who immediately determined I had PCOS, confirmed w/ ultrasound & blood test.
This did go FERN CITY again when I used it AFTER I knew I was pregnant just to see what it would do.
Anyhow, do NOT rely on this alone to determine if you are fertile, you might get totally dissapointed or miss when you really are ovulating.

You need to get the hang of it, but it does work. My second child was conceived thanks to the help of Ovulite. Now we're working on number three! The price is right too. You can use it for as many months as it takes to conceive and then again for your subsequent pregnancies.

Well I have been using Ovulite for about a month. Around the time I was supposed to ovulate I did see change in the cells but I did not see the fern. Can't say if it is the product or me. Otherwise, it is nice, compact and easy to use. No idea how to change the batteries or the light if either dies. I think I would have to buy a new one. In any case, I like it better then peeing on a stick.
