Ovulation predictions showed that I should be fertile 5-9, when it turns out I am not ovulating until the 18-20 roughly so you really have to pay attention to how long one period is to the next because the length of your cycle is crucial. And if you are constantly paying attention to every move your body makes thinking it's ovulation or pregnancy, you're going to convince yourself every little twinge is a sign so just relax and try some factual methods such as checking cervical mucus or your body temperature. I had what I assume was ovulation bleeding on days 13-15 after my last period. I am now at 35 days since my last period and 22 days since the first day of mid-cycle bleeding. Had a negative home pregnancy test yesterday and not had any of the normal period cramps. I have however had a nasty cold for a week now (sore throat, runny nose and headaches) - could this have delayed my period?
