A crying baby can be very upsetting and stressful, especially if this is your first. Responding to a baby’s cry is an instinct that has been with us from the beginning of time. As baby grows and changes, the reasons why they cry also change. Their cries also sound differently for different situations for most babies. For example, a tired baby cry may be a soft and slow cry where as a hungry cry may be very loud and demanding. Your baby will have his or her own style of communication. You will become familiar with your baby’s voice and be able to respond to their needs. Above all, RELAX and stay CALM. If you are stressed, your baby will sense this and may cry even more. The hot new trend in baby nursery decorating is round baby cribs. They offer a new look and feel to today’s nursery. When I saw this new type of crib, I thought it was the cutest…ever!!

Round baby cribs can be placed anywhere in the nursery, but putting them in the middle of the room allows you to take full advantage. You have 360 degree access to your baby and baby has a full view of their surroundings. You also have more wall space to put your dresser and changing table. This is a great solution if you have a small room.

With a round baby crib there are no corners for baby to bump into. The round design allows more freedom for baby to decide which is the head or the bed, or change when the mood strikes. It also gives them more opportunity for visual stimulation. Hanging baby mobiles is easy if you choose one with a canopy top.

They are a little pricier than a standard baby crib, but WOW, what a statement in your nursery. If you don’t want the same old look that everyone else has, this is the way to go!
